Darcy couldn't help herself as she took the picture of Thor on her phone. He was stuffing his face like this was his first real meal in so long. Posting it to facebook, she also sends it to her best friend. When your phone finally buzzed, you groaned small and stretched. Reaching out for your phone, you have to blink a few times to register what Darcy had sent you. When the male's face came into clear view, your jaw dropped open. He was handsome, even with his mouth full of food. Blinking a few more times, you sit up and immediately text Darcy back.
You: Who is the handsome male?
D: I knew you would be awake! His name is Thor.
Y: Thor? That's new.. When can i meet him?
D: Get your butt down to the diner and you can!Chuckling, you run a hand through your messy hair and then get out of bed. It would seem it was time to go meet the mysterious man that your best friend just sent you a picture of. Once you are dressed, you are grabbing your bag and heading out the door. It's maybe a five minute walk to the diner. When you finally arrive, you find Darcy sitting with Jane, the good professor and mysterious man. Darcy pretty much squeaks when she sees you push through the door. Standing up, she is pulling you into her arms and hugging you tightly. The woman always knew where you were. And that's saying a lot since you tend to dip out and move from state to state. Pulling away, you are hugged by the professor himself. He always liked pulling that fatherly card over you when you disappeared for too long. Shaking your head, you smile and then proceed to pull up a chair. The blonde male was very nice indeed. Darcy smirks and then glances over at Jane. The other woman really hadn't said much. She did like you but she had her small concerns about what you did for a living. Let's just say she didn't always agree to it.
"This drink.. I need more. I acquire more!" The males voice booms. Not even a second later the mug is smashed against the table. Jane jumps and Darcy's eyes widen. You on the other hand only raise an eyebrow. This would become an interesting journey indeed.
"Thor, this is my best friend (Y/N)." Darcy speaks up as you feel his gaze shift to you.

Blinking, you find yourself stunned. It took Darcy kicking you under the table for you to speak up.
"The pleasure is truly all mine." You flash a smile. He lets go of your hand and then demands more of the drink. A waitress brings it over and you ask her for a dustpan and broom. Cleaning up the mess from the broken mug. It was the least you could do for them. Eventually, Jane wants to leave. Darcy only nods and that's when you stand yourself. You needed to check in with your superior. This male was clearly something more and you might have an idea just where he came from.
"Come with us!" Darcy whines and grabs your arm. Your gaze shifts to her and you chuckle.
"I love you Darcy, but I can't always join you guys on your adventures. Besides, I'm sure Jane would appreciate it if I didn't come." You flash a small smile. "I'll see you again soon."

Hanging up the phone, you sigh. Darcy would kill you if she found out you had gotten caught and were now working with some agency. They offered a good deal, one you couldn't reject. You became their undercover. Traveling wherever leads took you. This one brought you here. Seeking out the man known as Thor. The real question was, could you let Jane fall in love with the man you just met? It would only wind up in hurt. The man wasn't from Earth. He would go back to his home and leave her behind. Well, if he could get home.
Darcy only finds out about your ties with Coulson when you appear again. You are there when Thor finally picks up his hammer again. Watching with wide eyes as it all unfolded. Jane was irritated with you but it was clear she was crushing on the God Of Thunder. You would've figured it anywhere because you knew a lot about mythology and the fact that Shield had plenty of information about such things. Humming small, you helped in the battle and eventually went your separate ways from Jane. Darcy kept contact with you but there really wasn't much contact.
It was another year or two before you met Thor once again. This time it was the events leading up to Ultron. You were all sitting around Tony Stark's tower enjoying yourselves. Of course, you still had your eyes set on Thor but it was a lost cause. He was with Jane from what Darcy had texted you. Not that you minded, not really. Your job had become your life truly. After Coulson... well, just say that Fury upped your position and now you were in charge of more things. Pushing those thoughts away, you get another beer. Natasha gave you a look and you just pushed it off. You weren't in the mood for her smart comments right now. The widow was well aware of your crush on Thor. She was more convinced that the two of you would work better than him and Jane. You didn't want to get into it. However, Thor did take you by surprise when he asked you to dance. It wasn't something you were expecting. The others were hooting and making noises.
Flipping them off, you agree and accept his dance. With him twirling you around, you found yourself feeling more free and relaxed. His charm truly did capture a girl's heart. Natasha smiles when she sees how happy you look. The widow had taken you under her wing when you took over Coulson's position. When the dance ended, you thanked Thor and pressed a kiss to his cheek. He turned a deep red and watched you make your way back over to the others. A small smirk on your lips as you sat beside Clint who was on the floor. He was messing with a drumstick. Thor comes back over and that's when the competition to lift Mjolnir comes along. Steve managed to slightly lift it and you snickered. Thor's expression was lost.
"Lady (Y/N), give it a try." He flashes a smile.
"Yeah, do it!" Tony smirks. Natasha finally pushes you off the couch and you grumble. Downing the rest of your alcohol, you make your way towards Mjolnir. It was going to go one of two ways. You would make a fool out of yourself, or Thor would be concerned. Taking a breath, you lift. The room became heavily silent when Mjolnir came off the table. More than Steve even lifted it. You honestly didn't think you were doing a damn thing. That was until the attack came. Thor is pushing you out of the way and grabbing his hammer. Flinging it through some of Ultron's minions. You were quick to grab a gun and start fighting along your team. Once that was over, Thor is still shocked by what he saw. You were worthy. More worthy than himself. More than any woman he had ever laid eyes on. Unable to stop himself, Thor is walking towards you and pulling you against him. His lips landing on yours ever so sweetly. Everyone stands silent as this happens. You on the other hand were shocked when he finally pulled away.
"What the hell was that for?" You manage to get out.
"You are worthy lady (y/n)." He murmurs.
"What about Jane?" You frown.
"She's not worthy like you. I have heard tales of a woman who could lift Mjolnir.. But never have I found her... until you." His voice is gentle. You blink a few times and then shake your head. There was no way you were that worthy. Natasha finally breaks the silence with a smart ass comment. Thor only pulls you against him and the rest of you spend the night talking strategies for Ultron. It would seem somehow, you were worthy enough and that meant Thor wanted you. Not something you thought was possible.. I mean come on? You are... well just you. A girl who took Agent Coulson's position and worked close with the Avengers. But you wouldn't deny being close to Thor. He was handsome and now he was wanting to teach you more about Mjolnir. Let's just say the night ended well and you and Thor were now inseparable.
