Jennifer Lopez and her former BFF, Leah Remini, have reportedly 'reconnected' amid the star's rumored marital woes with husband, Ben Affleck.

The Atlas actress, 54 - who canceled her This Is Me...Live summer tour on Friday in order to spend time with family - had been close to The King Of Queens star, 53, for years until their rumored falling out back in 2022.

According to Page Six, the two stars got into an argument in regards to Jennifer's impending marriage to Affleck at the time.

Remini had expressed her worries to Lopez, while also reminding her the reason for their first split years earlier: 'Because he is selfish and is not fully committed as a partner.'

However, following the fight, the On The Floor hitmaker 'was so mad' and decided to 'cut off all ties' with Leah.

In August 2022, Jennifer and Ben held a lavish wedding ceremony in Georgia - after saying 'I do' in Las Vegas one month earlier.

Remini was notably absent from the nuptials, with sources telling TMZ that Leah didn't make an appearance due to spending time with her daughter, Sofia, who was about to head off to college.

Earlier this week, a source told Page Six that the pair 'were friends for years' and explained that Leah,'wants to reach out to her, but she can't just call up and say, "I told you so."'

The insider then updated the publication to reveal that Remini reached out to the songstress and added they have also spoken with each other.

Last year in September, RuPaul's Drag Race star Michelle Visage briefly touched on the topic of Lopez and Remini's rocky friendship.

During an interview on the Las Culturistas podcast, host and SNL star Bowen Yang asked if Jennifer and Leah were still 'best buds.'

However, Visage quickly shut down the questioning by simply responding with, 'No comment,' subtly hinting that all was not well between the pals.

The pair first met in 2004 while attending a red carpet premiere when Jennifer was dating Marc Anthony. The pair married in June of that year but divorced 10 years later in 2014 - and share twins Max and Emme, 16.

Leah - who tied the knot with Angelo Pagan in 2003 - recalled crossing paths with Jennifer for the first time at the event while previously talking to Entertainment Tonight in 2018.

'So,we went to the premiere hoping she was gonna be ugly in real life,' she explained to the outlet.

'And then, when I was approaching her, I was like, "I hope it's the lighting. Maybe she just looks good in here," and as I got closer I was like, "Oh damn, there's a lot of light right here and she looks really pretty."'

'I even said that! I said, "Why the f**k? Why are you so f***ing pretty?" And she laughed.'

'Then I was like, "Ugh, I hope she's dumb," ya know? I was like, "She could be dumb!" I wanted to find something [wrong with her] and I didn't...' Leah added.

And during a past, joint appearance on The View, the pair - who starred in the romantic comedy Second Act - also opened up about their friendship.

'We're very close, like sisters are. But in a different way that sisters are,' Leah shared on the show, per Us Weekly.

Lopez also expressed, 'We understand each other's lives. We have similar lives and similar careers, and we understand nuances that other people don't understand, so that also bonded us.'

Jennifer further labeled the actress as 'courageous, caring and generous' while Remini jumped in to say Lopez was 'loving, warm, fiercely loyal, courageous, brave, true and authentic.'

The pair's reconciliation comes amid Jennifer and Ben Affleck split rumors - as well as the singer's cancelation of her summer tour.

On Friday, DailyMail.com exclusively learned that she wascanceling her Greatest Hits summer concert to spend more time with her family.

Thesinger was set to go on the This Is Me... Live tour to help celebrate her 55th birthday.

But the wife of Ben Affleck - whom she was seen holding hands with in Los Angeles on Friday after months of split rumors - wanted to be at home in Los Angeles, it was added.

DailyMail.com was given a statement on the cancelation. 'Representatives for Live Nation announced today that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour THIS IS ME...LIVE is canceled.

'Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,' it was added.

'For those who purchased through Ticketmaster, tickets will automatically be refunded – there is nothing further fans need to do.'

'For those who purchased via third-party resale sites such as SeatGeek, StubHub, VividSeats, etc. – please reach out to your point of purchase for more details.'

Jennifer sent this special message to her fans through her OntheJLo site: 'I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down.'

'Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…' wrote the producer.

A source told DailyMail.com that Lopez was sad to be dropping out of the tour, which was selling well, but needed to be home at this time.

'She's taking time off to be with family and close friends,' said the insider as they noted she had been rehearsing often for the show and was ready to commit, but felt it was time for a break.

'This was a very difficult decision made by Jennifer this week and she’s sorry to her fans.'

This decision was not made around ticket sales as the tour was actually doing well in most key cities and there had been a good uptick, a source told DailyMail.com.

There were rumors the tour was not selling well when it was billed as This Is Me... Now in support of her recent album that went with her film.

But when it was changed to a greatest hits tour called This Is Me... Live, tickets started selling very well.

She has just come off promoting her sci-fi movie Atlas. 'Jennifer had a huge hit with her film Atlas, it was number one all over the world, and she is proud of that and now wants some time at home.'

Indeed, Atlas, which she starred in and produced, was number one in 55 countries. And the film was in the top 10 in 93 countries.

This comes after Jennifer talked about how she loves to stay home.

This week when she talked to Harper's Bazaar while debuting her new Delola margarita beverage, she said that she is happiest at her $60M Bel Air, California mansion that Affleck moved out of.

And she told AP that she has slowed her career down, adding she goes at 'half' the speed she used to.

Lopez explained that she has 'been doing things that are really exciting' or 'inspiring' to her as opposed to 'doing just everything.'

Meanwhile, Us Weeklyclaimed this week she is rocks with Affleck because she works too much and claimed that Jennifer overextends herself.

The source went on to state that Ben 'doesn't agree with Jennifer's lifestyle' and now feels 'worn down' by their marriage.

Ben is said to have 'checked out' of their relationship and the insider added that he and Jennifer are on 'two completely different pages most of the time.'

Another source close to Jennifer suggested the couple's work commitments have also caused a rift, saying, 'both have demanding careers that often require them to be in different cities.'

They said: 'Over time, Jennifer and Ben found it increasingly difficult to communicate effectively, and small misunderstandings grew into significant arguments.'

'They have fundamentally different approaches to conflict,' the insider added, explaining that Jennifer prefers to confront issues head-on, while Ben isn't as quick to open up.

As they navigate their work obligations, often from opposite coasts, communication has also become a source of contention between the duo.

Affleck wed Lopez in 2022 after a 2021 reunion. They were first an item 20 years ago and even got engaged, but broke it off before 2004.

People, however, had a more positive stance on Bennifer last week.

'They just have very different approaches when it comes to media attention,' said a source. 'Ben hates all attention and it makes him very uncomfortable. Jennifer has always had a different approach.'

It was added it is just not 'his way' to share so much of his personal life. 'It doesn't make him happy and causes stress in his life and then in hers. There is no question their different styles clash,' added the source.

A third source, from the music world, relayed: 'She needs that expression but Affleck simply is not comfortable with it. After a while it causes tension in the relationship.

'He is more introspective and private. She likes to open her heart to her fans and to the world. This makes them considerably different, and it has been difficult in the day-to-day relationship.'

The People source said they will stick it out. 'There have always been clashes in their styles, how they handle issues, and their actions, but nothing has stopped their love over the years. This is a great love story,' the insider shared.

On Thursday, Jennifer and Ben reunited and were seen holding hands as they attended his daughter Violet's high school graduation.

They were joined by her twins Max and Emme, as well as Ben's other children Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, whom he shares with ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

However, the two were later spotted leaving the ceremony in separate vehicles and returned to their own homes.

The outing came shortly after the pair also attended a special graduation bash to celebrate Violet's milestone.
