In October, average daily temperatures in the United States of America range from around 50°F (10°C) to 70°F (21°C). The northern states and mountainous regions typically experience cooler temperatures, while the southern states enjoy slightly warmer weather.

The September and October months are an excellent time to visit the Amalfi Coast. The weather is a bit cooler than in the height of summer making it much more pleasant and relaxing. Additionally, fewer Italians visit and most services are still open.
