Former New York Gov. David Paterson appears to be courting Mary Sliwa, who was the wife of his former radio partner, Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa. Paterson and Mary Sliwa were seen together last week at Manhattan’s Supreme Court, where numerous sources confirmed they were a couple. The former governor tells Confidenti@l it’s a bit premature to say he and Sliwa are “dating,” but did add, “I wouldn’t rule it out because she’s a really terrific person.” Sliwa didn’t call us back.
Both Paterson and Sliwa have had colorful love lives. A day after his inauguration as New York’s 55th governor in 2008, Paterson admitted he’d been involved in an extramarital affair and so had his then-wife, Michelle Paige Paterson. Adding to the soap opera, the 60-year-old Brooklyn native took over the state’s highest office after the original “Luv Guv,” Eliot Spitzer, resigned amid a prostitution scandal. Paterson served until January 2011. He and his wife officially split in January 2014. Sliwa’s break from her beret-wearing husband also played out in the headlines. She filed for divorce in 2012, later claiming her husband has bedded an ex-girlfriend on the eve of their wedding night in 2000.

They might be the most stylish celebrity couple in New York, but for now, model Cara Delevingne and musician St. Vincent are keeping their lips sealed. The pair are rumored to have made out at a BRIT Awards after-party last week, and both have been romantically linked to women before — Michelle Rodriguez and Carrie Brownstein, respectively.
WILLIAMS TAKES A SINGING BREAK
Ain’t that a kick in the head? Allison Williams (l.) has canceled her American Songbook concert series at Lincoln Center “due to a change in the preproduction schedule for HBO’s ‘Girls,’ ” according to a statement on the center’s website. The actress and singer, whose father, Brian Williams, was suspended at “NBC Nightly News” after deceptive statements, was to perform the classics March 27-28. Tickets are being refunded and the concerts will be reset for next year.
‘DANCING’ READY TO RUMBA OVER PAY
After 16 seasons of twirling around on “Dancing With the Stars,” Karina Smirnoff announced she willl not return to the competition show. We hear Smirnoff’s camp wanted more money, and that other dancers on the show are likely to follow her lead and bail if ABC doesn’t cough up more cash. “They want them seven days a week, and it’s backbreaking work for not enough money,” one network insider says.

Elvis was the King, but he was no Chairman of the Board. “You’re talking about the difference between stardom and talent,” says Sinatra’s daughter Nancy, who worked with Presley in the 1968 film “Speedway.” “Elvis had talent and was a big star, but no one touches Frank and no one will in terms of musicianship and elegance and charitable work,” Ol’ Blue Eyes’ daughter continued. “There’s just nobody.” Nancy was in town for the New York Public Library exhibition honoring her father, which opens Wednesday.

Kevin Bacon would like to get some Hollywood revenge on Bernie Madoff. The “Footloose” star, who lost big in the Ponzi scheme, told Haute Living magazine that he’d see divine justice if he gets a part in Robert De Niro‘s upcoming HBO movie about the scandal, “Wizard of Lies.” “It would actually be sort of a great full-circle thing if I got paid to be in a Madoff movie,” Bacon says in the March/April issue of the magazine. “That would be perfect.”

Talk about a jet-setter. Rock royalty Georgia May Jagger posed for the latest British Airways campaign by wearing designs by Masha Ma, who did the stylish paint job on the 777 plane. The creation was unveiled Monday at the Great Festival of Creativity in Shanghai, where Prince William was on hand to promote British businesses.

SNOOP GOES STYLIN’
Fashion was the case in Paris, where rapper Snoop Dogg rocked the runway at the Etam show finale. Snoop wasn’t quite as welcome at last month’s Super Bowl in Phoenix, says Katy Perry, who says in March’s Elle magazine that the NFL wouldn’t let the rapper perform with her at halftime because of his feud with Iggy Azalea. “You can’t have that kind of hate at the Super Bowl,” Perry said. “They already have enough female-hate problems.”
