Daisy Jones and The Six ending explained: Where’s the band 20 years later? (2024)

Daisy Jones and The Six has played its final note. The Prime Video series, which tells the tale of the eponymous band, concluded with a rousing concert. Yes, it’s the famous one at Soldier Field where the group’s future in music together climaxed in an exceptional performance that also spelled the end of their journey.

The show, however, doesn’t just end with that iconic night, it also lets the audience in on what everyone’s been up to since 1977. This includes an update on disco pioneer Simone Jackson, legendary producer Teddy Price, the band’s tour manager Rod Reyes, and the littlest member of their raucous family, Julia Dunne.

Keep reading for a breakdown of what happened to everyone in the series.

Billy Dunne – He promised Camila he’d work for his place back in her and Julia’s life and that’s exactly what he did. After he got out of rehab, Billy went to therapy and joined a support group. Eventually he earned Camila back and the two had the marriage they wanted. He was also there for his daughter, Julia, like he wanted to be. Camila was the love of Billy’s life.

Camila Dunne – As she was throughout the series, Camila was a photographer. While we don’t get to know all that she’s accomplished over the years, she made her mark on the band not just through her efforts to push them forward and Billy’s songwriting, but she also contributed the iconic artwork that became the cover of the album Aurora. By the end of the season, she and Billy have a stable home life and a love that’s transcended time. Though Camila died of cancer, she had a fulfilling life and understood the complexities of it which is why she tells Daisy and Billy to reunite and that they owe her one more song.

Daisy Jones – After letting Billy go, and leaving the band, she went to rehab in Minnesota. Daisy still makes music, she’s a mother to her daughter, and she’s sober. In the time since the band broke up, she’s fallen in love quite a few times, but none of her relationships have been like the one she had with Billy.

Julia Dunne – Though we mostly knew her as the adorable daughter of Camila and Billy Dunne, she grew up to become the interviewer and documentarian that’s brought everyone together to tell the story of Daisy Jones and The Six.

Karen Sirko – She wanted to be a rock and roll star. Her dream was to travel the world and play music, and that’s exactly what she did. Karen formed a band called Candy Floss whose song “Solitude” had a music video airing on MTV in the ’80s. She still is living her dream.

Graham Dunne – He moved back home to Hazelwood, Pittsburgh. There he met his wife and the couple have two kids together. Graham credits the life he has to Karen because if she wasn’t “honest” with him about her feelings, he’d still be pining after her. In her own segment, Karen reveals she wasn’t being honest, she was telling Graham what he needed to hear so he could move on and go after the life he wanted just like she was going to do.

Eddie Roundtree – Once he parted ways with the band, Eddie started his own. He admits they weren’t bad, but they never got any traction. They never came close to the success he saw previously. He still gigs. In his words, his life is “fine,” it’s “totally fine.”

Warren Rojas – He’s also remained in the industry. As a session drummer, Warren has played on some classic records. He and Lisa got married in 1982, they have twin girls. He’s no longer famous in the way he once was, hence why no one asks him to sign their chest, but Lisa still lets him sign hers to be nice.

Simone Jackson – She and Bernie opened a club called Haven. They play music that makes you get up and move. Occasionally, Simone will get on the mic and when she does, it still shuts the place down. She’s credited as a pioneer of disco.

Rod Reyes – He says he quit the business after Daisy Jones and The Six broke up, but there’s an implication that he didn’t quite walk away from music. However, Rod states that’s a story for another time, so we don’t get to know what he’s been up to in the years since the band were the hottest act on the scene.

Teddy Price Unfortunately, he died in 1982, but he passed doing what he loved–making music. They found Teddy hunched over a soundboard after an all-nighter.
